Team
Project Lead
The project team is led by Carbon Solutions, a small business that provides technical support to a variety of energy research throughout the United States.
Carbon Solutions works with industry, government, non-profits, researchers, and other stakeholders to identify and implement real-world solutions for low-carbon energy challenges.
Project Partners
Other project partners include the University of Wyoming, the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), and ENTECH Strategies.
Commercial Partners
The project is supported by four commercial partners and project advisors: Kanata America, Carbonvert, Glenrock Energy, and Live Oak Environmental. Additionally, residents from around the state will be providing input into the blueprint across a handful of engagement events coming in late 2024 and through 2025.
Project Funding
Work on the Carbon Blueprint project is possible through funding from the United States Department of Energy’s Fossil Energy and Carbon Management Office. The project was competitively selected as 1 of 15 national grants through DE-FOA-2799 (under award number: DE-FE0032360).
